Admin Michelle Young Posted 1 October , 2022 Admin Share Posted 1 October , 2022 In memory of 15298, Ernest Albert Young, 10th Glosters. Wounded on the first day of the battle of Loos, 25/9/15. He died of those wounds at St Johns Hospital Etaples, on 1st October 1915. A native of Castle Combe, he is remembered on the war memorial, and at Stow on the Wold, where he was living with his wife and three children.
