In memory of 15298, Ernest Albert Young, 10th Glosters. Wounded on the first day of the battle of Loos, 25/9/15. He died of those wounds at St Johns Hospital Etaples, on 1st October 1915. A native of Castle Combe, he is remembered on the war memorial, and at Stow on the Wold, where he was living with his wife and three children.

My Great Grandad Isaac Brannon 13484 died on the same day in the same hospital, are there any record of those that stayed there Michelle?

Unfortunately, I don’t think so John. I believe that hospital records are as rare as hens teeth.
