Matthew Scully pte 62248 died of sickness (Bronchitis)

That cemetery was extremely well kept when I visited a few years ago. I would say exceptionally, so much that I wrote to the CWGC after my return to congratulate the gardener. I'm hoping to visit it again with the SCS in one of the next two years, We visit the campaign area each September.

Matthew married Mary Alice Llloyd in Salford Manchester in 1916
