Bradford WW1 Group Posted 12 September , 2022 Share Posted 12 September , 2022 The Bradford Great War Roll of Honour records more than 36,600 names of citizens of the district who served in the First World War. Supported by a National Lottery grant, the Roll of Honour has been transcribed into a fully searchable format by a member of the Bradford WW1 Group. read the article in the Bradford T&A here The information transcribed is exactly as recorded in the Roll of Honour. We are aware that not everyone who served requested that their name be included and that some information supplied by families may not be entirely accurate. We may have additional information about the person you are interested in so please contact us. If you have information about a Bradford relative who undertook war service of any kind, we are happy to preserve their details for generations to come. Interrogate the Roll in the People Search section on www.ww1bradford.org. Search by Name, or by Street address, or by Regiment, or by Unit - or any combination! keithmroberts Posted 12 September , 2022 Share Posted 12 September , 2022 An excellent project, which will make searching much simpler, especially given the error in the original records where the alpha order was somewhat messed up, and the fact that it is easy for new searches on the microfilm to miss the late additions. Well done indeed. Keith (A Bradford exile).
