Salonika Campaign visit - photo offers

Once again the Salonika Campaign Society will be making its annual pilgrimage to the commemorations of the first armistice of the Great War. We will also be walking parts of the area, and aim to visit the following cemeteries, and provided that time permits I will happily take photographs of headstones and names on memorials.

Planned cemetery visits:  Lembet Road, Doiran Military Cemetery and the Doiran Memorial, Struma Military Cemetery, Sarigol Military Cemetery, and  (awaiting confirmation), Karasouli Military Cemetery.  It is very unlikely that we will be able to visit any  other Salonika campaign cemeteries, as the walks planned largely determine our itinerary.

If you have a  photo request, please use the PM system and send me the following details by 12 September.

 Name as on headstone/memorial

unit

Row  and grave Number from the CWGC website.

Your email address for a download link.

I will be returning home in time for SCS wreath laying at the Cenotaph on 1st October, and will sort and send photos as soon as possible afterwards.
