stevenbecker Posted 17 August , 2022 Share Posted 17 August , 2022 Mates, I just spent a morning + chasing down a number of names and numbers from this Troop, but had limited luck with all names? I wonder if more eyes will help here , if you have the time? Here are some names mentioned in documents, most I have but others I can't confirm? stevenbecker Posted 18 August , 2022 Author Share Posted 18 August , 2022 Mates, Looks like no one took the challange Like wise I went over the around (200+) names of Bryant, Griffiths (700) Knowles (200+) in the Engineers and still got nowhere These possibly are the ones? Bryant Maurice A 2681 Spr Royal Engineers (541712) Luck Maurice J 6 T/SM Royal Engineers (540002) & (WR/194666) The other names no one got close to the 54--- number while some were around 50-- or 55-- but I am not sure? charlie962 Posted 19 August , 2022 Share Posted 19 August , 2022 You are not being ignored. I can only find stuff you've already found. Do you have a copy of the Daily Casualty List covering those actually wounded 2/4/18? As you've already noted, these men seem to be ex Kent Fortress RE. charlie962 Posted 19 August , 2022 Share Posted 19 August , 2022 For Knowles, what about Frederick G Knowles, 543874 RE? He had previous Kent Yeomanry connections. But I've not seen any link to Egypt or 10th Field Troop or camels!
