Its possibly a spelling mistake or some other reason I am not finding them?

The number range should be 541 ------

The the Medal index cards don't seam to work on half numbers?

Any ideas on these men?

Mates,

Looks like no one took the challange

Like wise I went over the around (200+) names of Bryant, Griffiths (700) Knowles (200+) in the Engineers and still got nowhere

These possibly are the ones?

Bryant    Maurice A    2681    Spr   Royal Engineers (541712)

Luck    Maurice J    6    T/SM    Royal Engineers (540002) & (WR/194666)

The other names no one got close to the 54--- number while some were around 50-- or 55-- but I am not sure?

You are not being ignored. I can only find stuff you've already found. Do you have a copy of the Daily Casualty List covering those actually wounded 2/4/18?

As you've already noted, these men seem to be ex Kent Fortress RE.

He was indeed 10th Field Troop EEF in Dec 1917. Record of leave on this odd bit of paper Findmypast

"British Army Service Records 1914-1920 Image | findmypast.co.uk" https://search.findmypast.co.uk/record?id=GBM%2FWO363-4%2F007294599%2F01172&parentid=GBM%2FWO363-4%2FSUPP%2F92755

Maurice, Morris...

For Knowles, what about Frederick G Knowles, 543874 RE? He had previous Kent Yeomanry connections. But I've not seen any link to Egypt or 10th Field Troop or camels!
