munchkin Posted 26 March , 2005 Share Posted 26 March , 2005 Hi All , I am looking into 2 deaths at Cottenham Red Cross Hospital in Cambridge. On the cottenham war memorial there are 2 civilian dead. 1. Florence Cox age 70, who was the Commandant of the hospital from 1915 to 1918. She died on January 17th 1919. 2. Malcolm Norman age 18, who was a Red Cross Orderly at the Cottenham VA.D Hospital. He died October 23rd 1916. I am trying to find out if they died of natural causes or from a german air raid or similar. Looking on the WWW there does not appear to be much, so i was wondering if anyone could help please. Thanks Glynn.
Terry Denham Posted 26 March , 2005 Share Posted 26 March , 2005 Glynn If you obtain copies of their death certificates, you will have your answers as the cause of death is stated in full.
