Remembered Today:

Blue Signaller's Patches

Hello all,

I was wondering if anyone has a copy of any of the army orders that states Battalion signallers should wear blue patches on their uniforms, instead of the blue and white brassard supposedly reserved for signallers of the Royal Engineers?

I have seen such orders mentioned in a previous thread, and wondered if someone could post a copy, or the wording of the orders to back up the point? Further, if anyone knows the earliest issue date of such orders, that would also be interesting to know?

Thanks in advance,

Best wishes,

Chris
