New find british artillery ww1

Hi guys, excursion to English artillery sites.

I found these two objects that I don't know about.

The first is a fairly thick sheet, measuring 29cm. x 40cm. With two small hooks

Second piece looks like a piece of some artillery component, it is 45cm long. And it has a diameter of about 12 / 13mm.

Thanks for all your invaluable help

Flavio

Ps, the sheet has an edge all around half a centimeter high

The sheet looks like a sheet metal lid for a box and the bar looks like some sort of support stay. I suspect the stay may belong to something like a limber or wagon. Unsure that the lid is military.

I'm putting an UP here after a long time just to ask if maybe someone has some ideas to identify the rectangular lid, over time always in large artillery emplacements, we have found dozens of them
