Stereoview Paul Posted 28 July , 2022 Share Posted 28 July , 2022 Hi, I recently purchased a Victory Medal as part of my research into the civilian camp followers of the Indian Army. The medal is impressed Dhobi Hayat N.WAZ.MIL. I believe N.Waz is North Waziristan. Dhobis were washermen. So I can find a number of Dhobis, and plenty of Hayats but not a Dhobi Hayat, should I be concerned that I cannot find a record? Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
