German photo on the back is this a place or name of Regt

At top it says something and I wondered if that’s a place name or Regt

The photo was taken in Landingen i(n) L(othringen), the village is now called Landange. It is signed by a Hauptmann der Reserve - I can‘t read his signature - he is seated second from the left as you look at the photo.

It's taken in what is now the Moselle region of France, about an hours drive from me. At the time, it was German but long before that had been mixed French German ethnically and culturally, with German dialects dominating as they still do, but "Platt" is itself a mixture of French, German and bibs and bobs of English.
