phil andrade Posted 30 June , 2022 Share Posted 30 June , 2022 By the histories that I’ve read, close to one million Germans were taken prisoner by the Armistice of 1918. On the Western Front, 1914 -18, if memory serves me, 770,000 were captured, half of them between mid July 1918 and the Armistice. On all other fronts, 154,000 were taken prisoner . Hope that helps.
