Connected with the death of 2Lt Arthur Herbert Britten 14 Apr 1918, attd is an extract from 8 Gloucs war diary.  I've found STINKING FARM, DAYLIGHT CORNER and NEUVE EGLISE.  Anyone any idea where ROSSINGNOL HUTS and SIEGE FARM is?

many thanks

Bearing in mind the names of the other locations, it might be that Siege Farm is the one located at N. 16. c. 25. 90 (Rats Alley lists two Siege Farms).  Could Rossignol Huts be Rossignol Camp at N. 21. b. 8. 2?

That's the conclusion I reached Don.  TrenchMapper has 80 maps of this area and some show Rossignol Camp, one showed a collection of huts but none used that name.

Until I retired, I walked past the original wooden signboard for Stinking Farm everyday, on display at work.
