Arthur William sterry

 Arthur William sterry was killed in action on September 4 1916 he was a sergeant in the Norfolk regiment do you have any information about the battle he fought and died in?

The London County Council Record of War Service (available on FMP) says 'near Falfemont Farm in the battle of the Somme'. He was in the 1st Battalion of the Norfolks; their War Diary is available free to download from The National Archives here and the document you want is the third of six. There are a few pages relating to the attack at Falfemont Farm, though I doubt Sgt Sterry will be mentioned by name.
