Pat Atkins Posted 22 June , 2022 Share Posted 22 June , 2022 (edited) The London County Council Record of War Service (available on FMP) says 'near Falfemont Farm in the battle of the Somme'. He was in the 1st Battalion of the Norfolks; their War Diary is available free to download from The National Archives here and the document you want is the third of six. There are a few pages relating to the attack at Falfemont Farm, though I doubt Sgt Sterry will be mentioned by name.
