Pte. Tom Harrison died 09 April 1917

The Inscription on the family grave refers to Pte. Harrison being buried at No. 1 Foward Cemetery 3 miles N.N.E. of Arras.

The CWGC details Record him as being buried Highland Cemetery Roclincourt.

Would this be one and the same place?

Any suggestions for best place to find information regarding where Seaforth Highlanders were April 1917 e.g War Diaries appreciated.

Yes, it looks like this is the same one - it was renamed, but the bodies initially buried there were not moved. From the CWGC description:

Quote

Roclincourt was just within the British lines before the Battles of Arras 1917; and it was from the village that the 51st (Highland) and 34th divisions advanced on the 9th April 1917. Highland Cemetery was made (under the name of Roclincourt Forward Cemetery No.1) when the battlefields were cleared after the 9th April 1917, and Plot I, Rows A. and C and Plot II, Rows A and D are almost exclusively occupied by the graves of the 51st Division.

Many thanks to you both.

The War Diary refers to the digging of graves on the 10 April  with a note that ‘Enemy’s Artillery very inactive’ and on the 11 April. The four officers killed appear to be buried at Maroeuil British Cemetery.
