IMDB

If the hero's career as a British spy is very short-lived, he goes onto better things as a Red commissar before helping a countess played by a fresh-faced Marlene Dietrich to flee. Lots of executions by both sides.

As one might expect from an Alexander Korda film, there are some striking scenes, starting off with Royal Ascot in 1913, followed by the Czar's Grand Ball.

Halfway through, I was thinking of awarding it 8 out of 10 on IMDB, but then the romance increased and the film started to drag a bit.

Though made in Britain (at Denham Studios), the title is rendered as "Knight Without Armor" on the version to which I've linked and on the poster shown on IMDB - though I suppose these could have been concessions to the US market and that alternatives feature an "u" in "Armour".
