Gallipoli Tour Guide - Enquiry

JakeJ

Recommended Posts

Hi all.

I'm taking my first trip to Gallipoli at the beginning of June and I'm looking for recommendations for a tour guide. I've only got two days and I'd like to focus down near Cape Helles where my great-grandpa came ashore with the 1st Borders on 10th October.

It'd be much appreciated if anyone can point me in the direction of a guide who can show me the sights and get out and about on the ground with me.

Thanks,
Jake

First I thought "Post a question on the Tripadvisor forum for Gallipoli, and you'll get results" but that has its last contribution 3 years ago, so maybe not the best place.

One reply, from 5 years ago mind!, *could* be interesting:

"The Yellow Rose Pansiyon in the centre is an aussie run B&B. Clean cheap, central and popular. They organise tours [....]"

Their website: http://www.yellowrose.4mg.com/

Starts in Turkish, scroll down for English.

From 9 years ago there's also a mention of a website for "probably the best guide for Gallipoli Battlefields", but that website hasn't been updated since 2009......
