US Army Air Service in Germany, 1919

Hi Folks,

Are there any good references out there that would give the operating airfields of USAAS units that formed part of the Allied occupation force in Germany after the Armistice?  I found references to the Second and Third Army Air Services forming part of the occupation force but no clear info on where units were located.

I'm also interested in learning whether personnel from units that were returned to the States might have stayed on in Germany.  For example, the 17th Aero Squadron reportedly returned all its aircraft to the French at Orly in December 1918 and the pilots and observers were detached from the Squadron.  I'm wondering if some of them might have been sent to other units.  

Sorry if these are odd questions.  Any help would be very much appreciated.
