I need help from somebody who knows their way around Army Orders.

An MIC shows discharged on 2-12-18 & cause for discharge as,

AO / 291/ 18

2a   W

My guess would be that 2a = theatre of war (which?) and W = wounded.

All insights welcomed.

Regards,

JMB

Acknown, Thanks!

So that looks like early discharge & award of SWB under the provisions of para. 2a of Army Order 291/18.

Reason: wounds.

JMB

That would be my interpretation, but I'm no expert!
