Jim Hastings Posted 2 May , 2022 Share Posted 2 May , 2022 (edited) Good afternoon all Wonder if I could have some help. I'm researching a 6th Londons man killed on this date, and I have ascertained from the War Diary that three officers and a number of ORs were killed over 17th/18th while repairing breastworks, having been observed and then bombarded by the Germans. I just wondered if anything was added to the Regimental History, 'Cast Iron Sixth' about this incident. I'm researching 1194 LCpl Percy Fosbury, know he's very very unlikely to get mentioned but the incident may. Appreciate any help and information. All the best and many thanks Jim Edited 2 May , 2022 by Jim Hastings
