Some extracts from the book earlier appeared as "An Airman’s Experiences in East Africa" by Leo Walmsley. Blackwood’s Magazine, no 206-207 July 1919-June 1920 Archive.org. Page 633, page 788, page 53, page 189. A quick comparison appears to indicate that the Blackwood's Magazine articles include the majority of the chapters in the book.
