Acknown Posted 2 May , 2022 Share Posted 2 May , 2022 (edited) Lynne - Not my area, but I did some searching. Two references: https://www.awm.gov.au/collection/C1339458. My copy of this reference only shows indistinct, hard-to-read images, which make this a challenge. However, you will see from the School's War Diary (WD - a daily record of events) that the School was established in Sep 17 near AVELUY and there is a plan of the camp here: https://www.awm.gov.au/collection/C1341810?image=4. However, as you will see from each page of the WD, it moved a number of times over the following year, ending up in Jun 18 at CHAMPNEUF FARM '3.5 miles west of RUE, near ABBEVILLE', being disestablished in May 19. Some months show a plan of instruction, so you will see the subjects taught. Here is Jan 18: https://www.awm.gov.au/collection/C1341806?image=5. Here's a video: https://www.iwm.org.uk/collections/item/object/1060022669. I hope that an ANZAC expert will comment on whether my research is accurate. Acknown Addition: I find that if you download the WD pages, they become clear. I said this wasn't my area .....
