I am trying to find out details about 3 brothers who were killed in WW1. They were brother in laws of my Great Grandfather, Alfred Ford (7th Bn Leicestershire Regt). They were:

Edmund Wyer Pte 1091 8th Bn Lincolnshire Regt Died 4/10/17

Robert Wilson Wyer Pte 12129 7th Bn Lincolnshire Regt Died 3/7/16

W Wyer Pte 14004 9th Bn Leicestershire Regt Died 14/7/16

I am unsure whether W Wyer was the third brother but as there are only 3 Wyers listed on CWGC in Lincolnshire or Leicestershire regiments I am guessing that he must be. The family originates from Bourne in Lincolnshire. Any information that confirms they are linked would be helpful.

You might want to try contacting Tony Stubbs, I understand that he was researching Bourne's War Memorial. Perhaps your lads (or at least Ed & Rob) are commemorated on it.
