Formby is a lovely semi rural area and this church is also pretty much perfect.

Herbert Holme born about 1883.  Married 24 Apr 1911 to Esther Gardner (27) of Rawtenstall.  The couple had lived at 5 Rimmers Avenue, Formby.  Home Service with 3rd (Reserve) Battalion based at Llanion Barracks, Pembroke Dock. Died at Liverpool Infirmary.
