Seems to have a Royal Irish Rifles, 6926, number too.

DEAD refers to the claim and not necessarily the man

Thanks M. Strange that his 1918 MM LG entry says 'Kilkeel' and his pension card address was still 'Fintona'. He was a tailor in Kilkeel post WW1.

P.S. I was in Matlock last week!

The PLIC address was C/o WE Neely, Fintona - could it perhaps have just been a postal address for him???

Thanks M. Yes his father William still lived in Fintona. He must have served with the RIR for a while after the war.

His military history on FMP shows that he served in SA :
