Admin ss002d6252 Posted 12 April Admin Share Posted 12 April Is anyone aware of any maps that are available that show the regimental areas? I'm trying to check some pension details that seem to be based on regimental areas, but without an overall map it's providing difficult. Any help appreciated. Admin ss002d6252 Posted 12 April Author Admin Share Posted 12 April Typical - I've just found this. Does it hold true for WW1 ? (I suspect it probably does). Craig

Interestingly it’s available on eBay as a poster of various sizes, framed or unframed, and it struck me what an excellent gift it would be for any forum member. corisande Posted 12 April Share Posted 12 April That is a really useful map. I suppose I wondered about exact areas, and with the Irish Regiments sort of knew "instinctively" which the local regiment was, but that map lays it our clearly and a lot more accurately than instinct

The recruiting council map looks to be full of interesting annotations but I can’t find a really good rendering of it online.
