penfold Posted 6 April , 2022 Share Posted 6 April , 2022 (edited) Does anyone know how Ship's Book Numbers (on service records as List. No.) were allocated? In particular the 'List' element of the reference. I am assuming once a list had been created then numbers were added to it in the order that a rating joined a ship.
