Just reading the Battalion diary for something else and read this paragraph, it may be of use to our listener

Looking at CWGC it seems to be 

SECOND LIEUTENANT WILLIAM GORDON COULTHURST

and Canadian SECOND LIEUTENANT GEORGE EMERSON DOWLER
