MikeDeadman Posted 1 April , 2022 Share Posted 1 April , 2022 I suggest that the G Longhurst names on the WW1 memorial at Ifield Kent, IWM WM 31779 is wrongly attributed. The correct attribution should be Stephen George Longhurst 31289 18th KRR Stephen G is listed as George in the 1911 census He is of the correct regiment as listed on WM31779 His mother, Emily Deadman, came from a family closely associated with the church adjacent Hope this helps Mike Deadman Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
