Sgt 4692 George Frank ELLIOTT (Essex Regt)

After information of family member - George Frank Elliott - Born Jul 1878 Kelveden Essex - Baptised 4 Aug 1878 St Marys, Kelveden -  Died 26 Aug 1914

 

Military information I have is Sgt 4692 Essex Regt (2nd Bat - when he died) he has 1914 Military Star, British War & Victory Medals

(He was brother of Daniel Elliott MM who I have had information of this site)

Will hopefully be visiting Esnes next month should you require a photo of his headstone.

Interestingly, on his exhumation report it says F Elliott.

To show I am not a complete curmudgeon ...

WFA/Fold3 pension cards [a paid for service BTW] usually have as just ELLIOTT, Frank - one actually has ELLIOTT (2) George (1) Frank - perhaps suggesting he preferred to be called Frank or at least that was the way his family knew him

Which is what his MIC also records.
