Class TB

Hiya,

 

Just working my way through the casulaty lists fron dink and the rest, but i dont understand what is meant for Robert Wake.  Could somebody enlighten me what is Class TB? and further along it mentions "ex 2 Con Dep". Does this mean that he had previously been at 2 Convalescent Depot?

 

in respect of the casulaty lists, I keep noticing a CR code at the top of the pages, is this a index reference?

I've seen PB for Permanent Base, but haven't seen TB before.

According to the List of Abbreviations on the LLT it is: 

TB: Temporary Base (medical)

And the CR 'code' is how the Newfoundland records office referenced the sheets relative to their man on the list. In this case CR 2700 relates to 2700 Duffett.

Not sure what the CR stands for.
