It says it has a profile of every casualty and the circumstances of their death in Ireland from 1916 to 1921. It is not cheap, I saw it retailing for €70, but seems really comprehensive. The casualties figures presented are: •The 1916 Rebellion = 504 casualties Civilians = 276 British Army = 127 Irish Rebels = 84 Police = 17 •1917 to 1921 = 2,346 casualties Civilians = 919 Police = 523 IRA = 491 British Army = 413 Browsing the book, I could see a lot Great War veterans amongst the Civilians.
