This young officer died in Gallipoli age 21. He was in the Royal Engineers (1st/1st East Lancs Field Coy) The badge does not appear to be either Royal Engineers or East Lancs

 Any ideas please

Thanks in advance  Tony

Can you show the complete head and shoulders, as a collar badge would also be an indicator and buttons also.  At the moment I’m thinking Royal East Kent Yeomanry, but am not 100% confident with such a blurred image and curtailed view.

Sorry no other badge visible and that is the only image I have, enlarged that bit as far as deemed useful No collar badges and buttons lack detail

Well done Pete.  Is the image also posted on B&CMBF?

Thanks all of you for your help.  .I did also ask on britishbadge forum with the same result. I had him as educated at the King Edward  (arch ;local rivals of my old school, Culford)

Thanks again
