Looking for any information about 206576 Driver Charles Montague, he was involved with the incident on the 20th/21st July 1917, and he was admitted to hospital November 1917, other than this i know nothing,  any information would be welcome

Military Medal Index card for London Gazette entry on 17/9/1917. This gives his unit at time of action for award (probably a few months earlier) as 126th Brigade Divisional Ammunition Column.

https://www.thegazette.co.uk/London/issue/30287/supplement/9610

This gives his home town as Brainton

Appears on a War Office wounded list on 2/11/1917. This says town is Braunton

  • 3 weeks later...

Good evening, could anyone help decipher the number's on the medal index and pension cards, as he was admitted to hospital in November 1917, and he had a pension card issued, would this indicate he was due a pension?
