Hi and welcome to the forum, The Indian Army and British Army units attached to it served in Burma over a long period with many different potential information sources depending on when this relative served there. The 1st Bat. was in Burma on the outbreak of war to be replaced by the territorial unit 1/4th in Jan 1915. The museum in Carlisle has a large collection of Photos of the Regiment in India.
