He has a pension card , showing born 1898, single and from Falkirk. Disability claim for Malaria. Looks Like he was James McGlashan Dewar. Born Inverkeithing  and married  1925 in Polmont (beside Falkirk)

Adding to that there is no death record for him in Scotland, but he shows up on the 1939 register  living in Dorking and Horley, Surrey, England and working as a post office overseer. He died in Southampton in 1990  aged 92. There are several family trees for him on Ancestry.
