Perth Digger Posted 17 February , 2022 Share Posted 17 February , 2022 According to the CWGC website, 983 airmen are commemorated on the AFS Memorial. But this figure does not include those whose remains have been found since 1932. I have seen two different figures for the number of names initially carved on the Memorial (all are still there, I believe). The Hampshire Telegraph, 5 August 1932, says 1018 names, the Northern Whig, 1 August 1932, gives 1021. Which is right? Also, is there any quick way of finding the names of those who have been found since 1932 without contacting the CWGC? Thanks Mike
