Collyhurstkid Posted 3 February , 2022 Share Posted 3 February , 2022 Would any forum members be able to point me in the right direction for researching German war service records? I am particularly interested in finding records for Jewish men and women who served with the German Military or associated organizations such as Nursing Units. I am of course aware they will be documented in German. Is there the equivalent of the CWGC for German war dead? Many thanks Gary

Yes but no were near as good, regiments etc are not recorded https://www.volksbund.de The service records for Prussian units were lost in ww2. The records for Bavarian units are available on Ancestry. Records for some Württembergische units are here https://www2.landesarchiv-bw.de/ofs21/suche/findbuecher_mit_digitalisaten.php?archiv=1&sortierung=&klassi=1.12#_1.12 Charlie
