An interesting find, ww1 era related soldiers Bible!?!? , I'd like to share with the forum. Soldiers Information/regiment written in pencil in the reverse of the bible. I can't see anything else written, and some pages at the front are missing. Added to my collection of militaria today.

A nice find - here is his MIC.

The qualifying date tells us he went out as an original member of the 9th Bn KORLR and his medal roll shows he served with that same unit throughout.

Regards

Russ

It must have helped.  Ha appears to have survived  and served with the Bn in France since deploying in Sept  1915.  As an infantryman private that is a rare thing.
