That is the "Cap, Service Dress" as originally introduced in 1905 and eventually replaced in 1921 with the "New Pattern" type (the most obvious difference being the much larger sized visor). If you are looking to buy a replica be aware that there are many cheap and terrible copies regularly for sale on website like Ebay or similar. The best replica is probably made by Richard Knight, who trades as "Khaki On Campaign": https://khaki-on-campaign.webs.com/apps/photos/photo?photoid=173376795&siteId=86252780&locale=en-US However he is facing material supply shortages due to current world events, and usually has long waiting times. They are the worth the wait however, and do turn up second hand on sites like Ebay sometimes so are well worth watching out for. Other sites which will sell you a half decent copy are Soldier of Fortune: WW1 1905 Service Dress SD Cap (sofmilitary.co.uk) And What Price Glory in the US: Page 7 - WWI LIST | What Price Glory Edited 13 January , 2022 by Andrew Upton
