tankengine888 Posted 1 December , 2021 Share Posted 1 December , 2021 Hello! I had a distant relative, Percival Stanley Reader, from Tunbridge Wells, in Kent. Killed 21st December 1914 and born June 1888. I have nothing else on him decides from a photo with him in a white uniform, attached. Any information is nice. This is all I know. 1 minute ago, tankengine888 said: Hello! I had a distant relative, Percival Stanley Reader, from Tunbridge Wells, in Kent. Killed 21st December 1914 and born June 1888. Allan1892 Posted 1 December , 2021 Share Posted 1 December , 2021 The war diaries for the 7th Dragoon Guards are available on the National Archives, currently available for free if you register with them (at no cost). I have attached images of the one that you want and also 3 images of their action on the 21 December 1914.

This is (as far as I know) the only "old contemptible" relative I know. I thank you both very much.
