I used Eurofins, but on  another thread where you asked the same question, Frajohn recommended simplytestme.

According to the BBC, fully vaccinated travellers to France now need to have a negative test (no further info available yet):

13:38

Travellers to France must now present negative Covid test

France has announced that everyone arriving from outside the EU will need to present a negative Covid test which is less than 48 hours old, even if they are fully vaccinated.

Unvaccinated people arriving from within the EU will need to present a test that is less than 24 hours old. The government is considering extending this to all travellers from within the EU.

As the document says, the section on UK to France is currently being amended - presumably to reflect today's "announcement".  The only reference to a change that I have seen so far is the BBC website.  I hope they announce more details soon as I am due to be going out there shortly.

Think it’s Saturday that you will need proof of a negative PCR test. Glad I got over in September, it’s going to be a long time tIl the next visit I feel.

PCR before you travel, and PCR on or before day 2 after return.

Thanks Michelle.  Was aware of the return bit but haven't seen anything about the new requirement for going to France.  I will have to get my skates on then.

French government spokesman Gabriel Attal said on Wednesday that all travellers arriving from outside the EU will need to show proof of a negative test (not clear if lateral flow or PCR), conducted less than 48 hours before if vaccinated and 24 hours if unvaccinated.

The government's health defence council will meet on Monday to decide if further measures are necesssary.

Either test is acceptable, be it PCR or LFD (antigen) for going into France.

Quote

From 4 December, fully vaccinated travellers (12 years old or more), and whatever their nationality, have to provide the result of a negative PCR or antigen test (in paper or digital format) carried out less than 48h hours prior to departure. Self-administred tests (NHS test for example) are not considered valid for travel.

The NHS indicates that it will not carry out tests for travel purposes. Private entities offering the same service must therefore be used.

Came back via the Tunnel on Thursday, no one at interested in our documents , Border Force just asked me if I had any live Ordnance in my car!

Be aware there are no toilets on the Train!

The lack of toilets is put up on the departure boards, but it still didn’t stop people getting out of their cars, despite being told to stay in their cars, to go to the toilet. The best one was the guy who was highly indignant that he was told to get back in his car after he got out to pump his tyres up……

Expert Medical had their licence withdrawn in October. Searching on gov.uk for approved testers in my area, Yorkshire & Humber, produces a list of 395 ranging from £0.99 pence to £55 for a Day 2 PCR test.

It might be wise to steer clear of the 99p one.

Looks like the 48 hours pre travel back  to UK test is coming back as well.

My daughter is supposed to be coming over for Christmas on 24 December and going back 28th. How do you get a test on Boxing Day?

"You must take the test within the 2 days before you travel to England."

So Boxing Day or the 27th (assuming that the result arrives in time). Do these politicians ever think?

or even the 28th depending on whether enough time before departure (I have met people who were doing that when I went for a pre-return test back in the summer).  Lateral flow test will do - result in 20 minutes.  The answer to your question I suspect is not often.
