George was one of three brothers who died during the war. In addition to his CWGC Headstone he is remembered on the family headstone….

wondering whether War Diaries would be place to possibly find more information.

His Commonwealth  War Graves entry has him being 7th Battalion  but attached to 15th Battalion. The war diary for 28/6/1918 has a big write up as it looks to have been a busy day. They had just moved up to the front line a day or so before for an attack and gives a map position a as K15a 95. 55. On 28th they had 2 officers killed and 5 wounded but not named.
