Hello everyone I am new here! Recently ive been collecting surplus for a while and a few months ago I was able to get my hands on a painted Adrian helmet. Ive been trying to do research on my own to see what regiment this helmet was used in like if it was naval, light infantry and all that. Do any of yinz think you can help me identify this possibly? Also dont mind the other thing its my ARS gas mask I have in a display case with the helmet

Kuri,

Welcome to the Forum.

The two horizontal slots inside the RF/red background indicate that your helmet has lost its original badge, which may have indicated to which arm of the French service it belonged.

My overall impression is that it is a fancifully painted piece of trench art, but the experts will be along to confirm or refute my thoughts.

Regards,

JMB

Probably painted for the stage. I've seen a few similar helmets in France.
