Could anybody assist please looking for the RNR service records of 

Deck Hand John Adams 5526 DA

HMT Diamond 2

killed in action 27/19/1916

cant find his service records or the trawler itself. Any assistance would be appreciated thank you.

Not k.i.a. but lost overboard from HMS DIAMOND II on 27 Oct 1916. She was operating out of Falmouth, based on HMS DREEL CASTLE.

DIAMOND, hired trawler, Adty No 1376. Built 1913, 289grt, Hull-reg H.665. Armament: 1-6pdr AA. In service 4.15-1919 as minesweeper. Renamed DIAMOND II 6.15.
