Originally buried at Carliol Square Prison and re-interred at All Saints Cemetery, Jesmond, in 1925. Incidentally, Ernest Bernard Scott was apparently an ex-Navy stoker, and William James Cavanagh was executed for the murder of seaman Henry Arthur Hollyer.
