museumtom Posted 24 October , 2021 Author Share Posted 24 October , 2021 (edited) I did an interview in RTE today and they put the site up temporarily. I dont know when they will take it down as it is not fully cooked, but it will be fully up before Armistice. Enjoy! https://irelandsgreatwardead.ie/the-archive/ Edited 24 October , 2021 by museumtom

museumtom Posted 24 October , 2021 Author Share Posted 24 October , 2021 All ex-soldiers who served in the war that died after service between 06/08/1914 and 31/08/1921 are also included, not matter what they died from. Munition workers, barrack wardens, coast watchers, etc are also included.

Assumed they weren't in yet (or I'm choosing the wrong parameters) Enjoyed the interview. A good explanation of the various records and their becoming more available. museumtom Posted 25 October , 2021 Author Share Posted 25 October , 2021 Hello Doyler. The database is down again, sorry for that. It is not supposed to be online until Armistice. I just checked and I find that they are not listed. The only way I would have found them is by their death certificates. Browning is listed as a Civil Servant, that is why I did not pick up on it. I will make sure they are added. Kind regards. Tom.

museumtom Posted 25 October , 2021 Author Share Posted 25 October , 2021 Thank you Mr D, I will put up the GR lads later. Thank you for pointing this out to me. I had every intentions of adding them as they form part of the Grey Area. Kind regards. Tom. Harbourne's son George was killed with the Inniskillings.
