No. 11 on the list of Canadian Aces of the Great War. Shot down by Leutnant Paul Billik of Jasta 51 and became a POW, repatriated after the Armistice. After the war, Major Carter commanded a Canadian squadron in England where they trained using captured German Fokker D-VII’s.
