gjacks Posted 5 October , 2021 Share Posted 5 October , 2021 Hello Forum members, I am trying to trace the movements of Hans Martin Beresford Harper who moved to Scotland after being born in Portadown, Ireland. Dob 24 Nov 1909 Parents John and Frances Harper who according to the 1911 census were living at 7 Surrey Street - not sure if that Dinmore or Portadown. The man in question is a bit of a mysterious figure in his family. One perhaps imaginative claim is that he was involved with the project to bomb German dams during WW2. He joined the RAF as a 15 year old. I've included two of his RAF records. I'm hopeful there will be interest within Great War Forum to advance what is known.
