S/E gives siblings Joseph, Bridget Shirley, Andrew, William, Annie Morgan, and Mary(?). davidbohl Posted 14 September , 2021 Author Share Posted 14 September , 2021 Summary of family for his biography with photo **** Pte #52076 Thomas Jordan Age 39 on death born 7th Feb 1877, his birth is recorded in Frenchpark, Castlereagh, County Roscommon (not Castlereagh in Belfast) baptised 20th Feb 1877 Son of Anthony and the late Mary Anne (nee Farrell) Jordan, father was a land owner Siblings identified by birth rec. are William b. 1871, Anne b. 1874, Frank b. 1876, Bridget b. 1881, Andrew b.1882, Joseph b.1888 The ages on the census are not consistent:- 1901 Census for Ireland, the family are at House 8 in Cloonbard, Baslick Co. Roscommon 1911 Census for Ireland, father Anthony is widowed, now at House 20 in Cloonbard Sister Anne married Patrick Morgan in Kilmurry 1911 (named on soldiers effects) Possibly Bridget Jordan married Arthur Shirley in St. Anthony’s, Liverpool, in 1916 (named on soldiers effects) The death (DOW) of Pte Thomas Jordan KLR is reported in the Liverpool papers as living at 45 Fontenoy Street, off Dale St, Liverpool.
