Pte Thomas Jordan #52076 King's Liverpool CWGC

I'm trying to bulk up this chaps bio, according to sdgw he was born and resided in Castlereagh and enlisted in Liverpool.

S/E gives siblings Joseph, Bridget Shirley, Andrew, William, Annie Morgan, and Mary(?).

He's listed on the National Roll of Honour for Ireland

Can anybody he pick him up in Castlereagh please ?

many thanks

Dave

Summary of family for his biography with photo

****

Pte #52076 Thomas Jordan

Age 39 on death

born 7th Feb 1877, his birth is recorded in Frenchpark, Castlereagh, County Roscommon (not Castlereagh in Belfast)

baptised 20th Feb 1877

Son of Anthony and the late Mary Anne (nee Farrell) Jordan, father was a land owner

Siblings identified by birth rec. are William b. 1871, Anne b. 1874, Frank b. 1876, Bridget b. 1881, Andrew b.1882, Joseph b.1888

The ages on the census are not consistent:-

1901 Census for Ireland, the family are at House 8 in Cloonbard, Baslick Co. Roscommon

1911 Census for Ireland, father Anthony is widowed, now at House 20 in Cloonbard

Sister Anne married Patrick Morgan in Kilmurry 1911 (named on soldiers effects)

Possibly Bridget Jordan married Arthur Shirley in St. Anthony’s, Liverpool, in 1916 (named on soldiers effects)

The death (DOW) of Pte Thomas Jordan KLR is reported in the Liverpool papers as living at 45 Fontenoy Street, off Dale St, Liverpool.

The Electoral Rolls 1918 show a Mr and Mrs Weaver living there, and Kate O'Brien (may be his sister Kate)
