Maureen Thank you Maureen. Buried away on p98 of 102. Anyone with knowledge, will know that by taking a ladies skirt, cutting up the front and rear to the crotch, then sewing the front and back edge of each leg, will bring you to a pair of shorts (or a pair of trousers from a long skirt). Tom. P.S. Proud to wear a kilt (when I get the excuse) and maintain the history and culture of Scotland, and Scottish Regiments who wore the kilt into battle.
